Privacy Policy Last updated: April 13, 2026 Loud Unicorn LLC ("we," "us," "our") built PickleLive Score. This policy explains exactly what data PickleLive Score collects, why, and how it is handled. 1. What Data We Collect and Why Match & Player Data (core app functionality): - Player names — entered by you to identify participants on the scoreboard and in match history. Stored locally on your device. - Match scores — point-by-point scoring data for each game. Stored locally on your device. - Match dates and timestamps — used to organize your match history chronologically. Stored locally on your device. - Match history — all completed matches and series results. Stored locally on your device using SwiftData. - Scoring preferences — your selected scoring type (rally or traditional), game point target, and match format (best of 3/5). Stored locally on your device. All of the above is entered by you directly and serves no purpose other than powering the features you see on screen. 2. What We Do NOT Collect - We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account information - We do not collect location data - We do not collect device contacts or address book data - We do not collect photos or camera data - We do not collect health or fitness data - We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA) - We do not use analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Amplitude, no Mixpanel, no third-party analytics) - We do not use advertising SDKs or share data with ad networks - We do not use crash reporting services - We do not transmit any data to our servers — PickleLive Score has no backend infrastructure - No data ever leaves your device 3. Data Storage — Local Device Only All data in PickleLive Score is stored exclusively on your device using SwiftData. There is no cloud sync, no CloudKit, no remote server, and no network calls of any kind. Your match history, player names, and statistics live only on your iPhone and are never transmitted over the network. 4. Third-Party Services PickleLive Score does not use any third-party services. The following Apple system frameworks are used: - SwiftData — local on-device data persistence (no transmission) - SwiftUI — UI rendering framework We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking libraries. 5. Children's Data PickleLive Score is not directed at or intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The app contains no account registration and no data transmission. If you believe a child's data has been collected in error, contact legal@loudunicorn.com. 6. Data Retention and Deletion All data is stored locally on your device. To delete all PickleLive Score data, simply uninstall the app. Uninstalling permanently removes all locally stored match history, player names, and statistics. To delete individual matches: use the swipe-to-delete gesture in the History tab. 7. Security Because all data is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS sandboxing, your data is as secure as your iPhone itself. We do not transmit data to external servers, so there is no network-based security risk. 8. Changes to This Policy We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance. 9. Data Controller Loud Unicorn LLC is the data controller for personal data processed through PickleLive Score. Contact: gdpr@loudunicorn.com 2. Legal Basis for Processing We process minimal personal data under the following legal bases (GDPR Article 6): Contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)): Processing player names, match scores, and match history is necessary to provide the core PickleLive Score service — a real-time pickleball scorekeeping tool. Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): By entering player names and match data, you consent to that data being stored locally on your device for the purpose of using PickleLive Score. 3. Your Rights Under GDPR Right of Access (Art. 15): You have the right to know what personal data we hold about you. Because all data is stored locally on your device and we do not operate a backend server, we do not hold copies of your data. You can view all stored data in the app's History tab. Right to Rectification (Art. 16): You can modify player names and match settings directly within the app. Right to Erasure / "Right to be Forgotten" (Art. 17): You can delete all your personal data by uninstalling PickleLive Score. This permanently removes all local data. Individual matches can be deleted from the History tab. There is no server-side data to delete. Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18): Because all processing is local and user-initiated, you can restrict processing by simply not entering data into the app. Right to Data Portability (Art. 20): Because we do not store data on our servers, there is no centralized dataset to export. Right to Object (Art. 21): You can object to processing at any time by uninstalling the app. Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the app, which permanently removes all data. 4. How to Exercise Your Rights Email: gdpr@loudunicorn.com Response time: We will respond to verified requests within 30 days of receipt. For complex requests, we may extend this by an additional 60 days with notice. 5. Supervisory Authority If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your EU/EEA member state of residence. 6. International Data Transfers PickleLive Score stores all data locally on your device. We do not transfer personal data to any servers, inside or outside the EU/EEA. 7. Categories of Personal Information We Collect Under CCPA categories, PickleLive Score collects: - App usage data (player names, match scores, match history) — stored locally on your device only We do NOT collect: name, email, phone number, location, browsing history, biometric data, device identifiers, or any sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA. 2. Do We Sell or Share Personal Information? No. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not have a backend server or third-party analytics integrations. 4. Your CCPA/CPRA Rights Right to Know (CCPA 1798.100): You have the right to know what personal information we collect. All data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain server-side copies. Right to Delete (CCPA 1798.105): You can delete all your data by uninstalling PickleLive Score. Contact legal@loudunicorn.com to request deletion of any records we may hold (though we do not maintain user databases). Right to Correct (CPRA 1798.106): You can correct your player names and preferences directly in the app at any time. Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing (CCPA 1798.120): We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information (CPRA 1798.121): We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA. Right to Non-Discrimination (CCPA 1798.125): We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights. 5.
